During the 'Hunak Hun' exhibition, I spent many hours at the Jabarin household, where my video and drawings were exhibited. Over time we got to know each other better, and since the exhibition, Amir Jabarin and I have been holding an ongoing correspondence. I draw a postcard-sized image from one of the many photos I took at his house, and he writes to tell me his thoughts about the image and the history of the drawn items. He sends me a photo and I draw it. Sometimes I know the cultural and personal background of the item and sometimes I draw ‘blind’.  All the postcards are in the same distancing blue pencil as the drawings in the exhibition.
